Using artificial satellites to accurately reflect water management in rice paddies

Instead of relying on documents and photographs, which can be unreliable, Jizoku has adopted a more precise approach to monitor surface water in rice paddies using the Archeda satellite system. This advanced technology allows us to verify whether sustainable practices are being implemented in real time, significantly reducing the risk of greenwashing and enhancing the transparency of our climate action efforts.
To improve transparency in sustainable agriculture, Jizoku has applied the Archeda satellite system to monitor water management practices in Kashiwa City, located in Chiba Prefecture.
