Lao PDR Forest Renewal
In Lao PDR, we are restoring degraded hillsides and disaster-affected areas by replanting trees and developing resilient, community-managed forests. To ensure real climate impact, we are building MRV systems aligned with JCM guidelines and training local teams to use them.
Alongside reforestation, we are promoting low-emission, regenerative farming to cut chemical inputs and raise farm incomes, and we are preparing investment for biochar plants that turn crop residue into soil-improving carbon. Eligible renewable energy projects will also be registered for credit issuance.
