Announcement
CEO Kataoka Participated as a Speaker at the Toyama Prefecture and SHIBUYA QWS “NAKASAI Fes 2026”
Background and Objective of the Participation
NAKASAI Fes 2026 is a collaborative networking event designed to connect startup, businesses and entrepreneurs from the Tokyo metropolitan area and Toyama Prefecture.
Guided by our mission to “create a world where everyone can continue to enjoy delicious foods”, Jizoku Inc. are developing a business that converts environmental value into economic value by converting greenhouse gas reduction effects, achieved through measures such as extending the mid-season drying period in rice cultivation, into carbon credits.
Our CEO, Kataoka, took to the stage as a panelist during the panel discussion at this event.
During the session, he discussed the mechanism behind Jizoku’s agriculture derived carbon credits and examples of creating new revenue streams for farmers, while also introducing the specific initiatives we are currently advancing within Toyama Prefecture.
Moving forward, Jizoku will continue to collaborate with communities in Toyama Prefecture and other regions to visualize the multifaceted value of agriculture and aim to build a sustainable food and agricultural environment for future generations.
