Jizoku Inc. Enters into Strategic Partnership with Sumifuku for Biochar Credit Development
Jizoku Inc. (Headquarters: Kunitachi, Tokyo; CEO: Keiichiro Kataoka) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and a mutual agency agreement with Sumifuku Inc., a leading manufacturer of carbonization equipment, to collaborate on the creation of biochar credits.
Through this partnership, the two companies aim to combine Sumifuku’s proven carbonization machinery with Jizoku’s expertise in generating and distributing carbon credits, thereby promoting the broader adoption of biochar and contributing to the realization of a carbon-neutral society.

About Sumifuku Inc.
Sumifuku has been engaged in the manufacture of carbonization equipment since its predecessor, SK Industry Co., Ltd. Over the years, the company has achieved cumulative domestic sales of 200 units, including its flagship model “Sumi-chan”, supporting resource circulation and sustainable practices across local communities.
Future Outlook
Under this collaboration, Jizoku Inc. and Sumifuku plan to:
